A Kyusu is a traditional Japanese ceramic teapot specially designed to brew green tea. Kyusu is available in all shapes, sizes, and colours. You can buy anything from tiny one-cup Kyusu to gigantic Kyusu that hold enough tea for twelve or more people!

The Kyusu we have selected for you is the most popular size, 360ml (12.67fl oz), perfect for 1 - 3 people. This Kyusu is a very classic natural red colour and simple style.

It has a fine mesh filter at the base of the spout of the Kyusu, so even tiny tea leaves (ex: Fukamushi Sencha) will not come out from the Kyusu.
If the mesh filter is too fine, the aroma and taste can't be extracted enough and the filter can easily become blocked.
Our Kyusu mesh filter is the perfect size for all kinds of tea leaves.

Highly Recommended to pair it with the Yunomi cup from Japan.

DIRECTIONS

1) Put loose leaves into the inner pot.
2) Add boiling water & cover the lid.
3) Steep for 10-20 secs and pour out the tea
4) Pour into the drinking cup & it's ready to serve!
